Repair Service

Asphalt Repair and Patching in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Potholes, alligatoring, edge crumbling, utility cuts. We fix what's failing and deal with the cause, not just the surface.

Potholes and failing sections don't fix themselves. Left alone, a localized problem spreads as water gets under the surrounding pavement, weakens the base, and turns a $500 patch into a much bigger conversation. Done correctly, targeted repair is the most cost-effective way to extend the life of your pavement without replacing what doesn't need replacing.

Types of Repair We Handle

  • Pothole fill and compaction: hot mix, done right
  • Edge crumbling and base exposure along curbs and borders
  • Alligatored sections: saw-cut, remove, and replace with proper base work
  • Utility cut patching after water, gas, or electrical line work
  • Heaved or settled sections from freeze-thaw or root intrusion
  • Overlay on localized damaged areas that don't warrant full resurfacing

Why Most Repairs Fail

Bad patch jobs are one of the most common things we see. A contractor fills a pothole with cold-pour material, skips base prep, runs over it once with a hand tamper, and calls it done. Six months later the patch is gone and the hole is back. Sometimes bigger.

The two failure points are always the same: wrong product and bad compaction. We use hot-mix asphalt, which bonds properly to the surrounding pavement and compacts to the density you need. We also compact it correctly: the right equipment and enough passes to achieve proper density, not just flush-with-the-surface and move on. A properly done hot-mix patch in a stable base will last for years.

Root Cause First

We look at what caused the failure before we patch it. A pothole that formed because of a drainage problem or subsurface water will come back if you don't address what's causing it. Alligatoring is almost always a base failure, not a surface failure. Patching the top without fixing the base is wasted money. We'll tell you what we find and what the right fix looks like before we start work.

Common Questions

Do you warranty repair work?

Yes. All of our repair work is covered by our standard warranty. If a properly repaired section fails under normal conditions, we come back out.

How do I know if I need a repair or a full replacement?

We'll come look at it and give you a straight answer. If targeted repairs can give you 5–10 more years, that's what we'll recommend. If the lot has reached the end of its useful life, we'll tell you that too.
